Since the 1960s, my father's house has been an "open" place that welcomed families and invested in human relationships within its spacious areas. It was my grandparents who laid the roots of hospitality in the training of my father and then of mine.

I grew up in a "house full of people": in a bar-trattoria, in a bocce court, surrounded by the affection and reprimands of an elderly couple that my paternal grandmother hosted during the summer. In 2001, however, my father and mother decided to close the family business to create the first three rooms of what would later become our Garnì. Thanks to the valuable collaboration of some colleagues, my family began to approach the world of hospitality. It was in 2008 that my parents Rina and Maurizio finally decided to invest their resources in building a new structure next to the existing one, to create a proper hotel. The name is due to me, Marika, the only daughter after three boys. An ancient tradition of naming the firstborn as a sign of good omen, which in some way has marked my path, despite the humanistic training that I try to blend with my work as a hotelier every day. Since 2018, I have been managing this reality myself, with the valuable help of my mother and the support of my father.

From the very architecture, we did not want to lose that sense of "home" that we have always tried to offer our guests.

The Garnì actually stands as a true single villa, divided over two floors, surrounded by a garden that we take care of personally. There are seven rooms, on the ground and first floor, overlooking Lake Garda and the beautiful hilly and mountainous landscapes of the Alto Garda Bresciano park. Each room features a private bathroom and simple furnishings designed to convey a general sense of harmony. On the ground floor, there is the breakfast room, where every morning, from 8:00 to 10:00, a buffet for a sweet and savory continental breakfast is set up, which can be enjoyed outdoors, immersed in the beautiful surrounding panorama. We also have a sort of dependence, where the first three rooms created by my parents are still located: one triple room and two double rooms. They are on the ground floor, equipped with a private bathroom and all the services of the new rooms, the only difference being the view, which only overlooks the garden of the structure and the surrounding mountain landscape. Breakfast, for those staying in this portion of the hotel, is still guaranteed in the main structure and in the garden of the Garnì.
